Question
Are there additional filters applied when calling the Orbis search API, apart from the specified search criteria fields?
Answer
Questions:
The default Orbis behavior is they do not return shareholders with unknown percentage.
Additionally, we allow to define the threshold in the ext data configuration so only shareholders with a percentage above the defined threshold should be returned.
By default all shareholders with known percentage should be returned.
This is the search request we send to the Orbis:
Possibly the option "ExcludeInactive" may result in the behavior you've described.
{

"BVDID",
"NAME",
"ENTITY_TYPE",
"INCORPORATION_DATE"

}
Issues:
To recognize if entity is a Company or Indivudal we relay on the contacts data:
"/Contacts/data"
If the endpoint return data for the particular id we treat the entity as an individual.
For the national ID we just return whatever Orbis return to us
NationalId = result.GetCommaSeparatedList("NATIONAL_ID"),
NationalIdType = result.GetCommaSeparatedList("NATIONAL_ID_TYPE"),
mapping additionally NATIONAL ID TYPE may help to recognize what value it is.
