“The number of members of the group can't exceed the limit of 2000” when assigning user to Access Layer

Description:
This error occurs when attempting to assign a user to an Access Layer and the associated group has reached its maximum member capacity.

Cause:
Fenergo enforces a system-defined limit of 2000 members per group. Once this threshold is reached, no additional users can be added to the group.

Resolution:
This is a system hard limit and cannot be increased.

Suggestions:

  1. Remove inactive or unnecessary users from the group to free up capacity

  2. Create a new group and assign users across multiple groups

  3. Review group design to ensure users are distributed efficiently across Access Layers
