How to test Data Deletion process manually

Data Deletion process runs at 12 AM GMT daily. When the retention period expires, the entity is marked as eligible for deletion and the data is deleted in the subsequent Data Deletion run at midnight GMT.

Steps to validate Data Deletion process without waiting for retention period expiry

Get the Data Deletion process for the entity - {baseURL}/dataprotectionquery/api/datadeletionprocess/{entityId}
Set the initiatedOn property to a date in the past, further back than the retention period.{baseURL}/dataprotectioncommand/api/datadeletionprocess/{EntityId}/{DataDeletionProcessId}

3. Verify the data deletion process has been updated. Hover over the "Client Offboarded" chip on the entity profile page to view the retention date. Screenshot added below for reference.

4. Trigger the data retention check manually - {baseURL}/dataprotectioncommand/api/dataretentioncheck/triggerdataretentioncheck

5. Verify the entity data, journey data is deleted from the entity page
