Lexis Nexis - How to check entities on accept list

Article guides how to check presence of entity on Lexis Nexis accept list

The Accept List is used to suppress previously resolved screening alerts, ensuring the same alerts are not repeatedly generated for the same entity.

🧠 Background

  • When an entity is added to the Accept List:

    • Future screening alerts for that entity are suppressed

    • This applies to both on-demand and ongoing screening

  • Entities are typically added to the Accept List after screening results are reviewed and resolved in Fenergo.

šŸ” Steps to Verify Entity in Accept List (LexisNexis Bridger Portal)

Step 1: Log in to LexisNexis Bridger Insight

  • Access the LexisNexis Bridger Insight XG portal

  • Log in using your assigned credentials

Step 2: Navigate to Accept List

  • Go to:
    List Management → Accept List

  • Select the relevant Accept List (e.g., Default Accept List)

Step 3: Check via Download (Manual Verification)

  • Click the Download icon (as shown in the screenshot)

  • Export the Accept List

  • Search the file manually for:

    • Entity Name

    • Unique Identifier (e.g., Fenergo Legal Entity ID)

Step 4: Check via Query (Recommended)

  • Click New Query

  • Enter search criteria such as:

    • First Name / Last Name (for individuals)

    • Full Name (for companies)

  • Click Find

šŸ‘‰ If the entity appears in results:

  • The entity exists on the Accept List

šŸ‘‰ If no results are returned:

  • The entity is not on the Accept List

āš ļø Important Considerations

  • The Accept List works at alert level, meaning:

    • Once an alert is added, all associated results are suppressed

  • If screening criteria or identifiers change:

    • The Accept List may not suppress new results
