Avoiding 502 Bad Gateway Errors with the New Paginated Data Deletion Process Endpoint

The 502 Bad Gateway error you encountered when calling the /dataprotectionquery/api/datadeletionprocess endpoint was caused by the size of the returned dataset. When large volumes of data are requested, the response can exceed system limits, resulting in gateway errors.

To resolve this, We have introduced a endpoint optimized for handling large datasets more efficiently:

/dataprotectionquery/api/datadeletionprocess/paged

This endpoint supports pagination, returning results in smaller, manageable batches. Each response includes a paginationToken, which you can use to request the next set of records. You can also control the number of records returned per page using the limit parameter (default: 100, maximum: 10,000).

We recommend using this endpoint for any large dataset requests to improve performance and avoid 502 errors.

Required Permissions
