Summary
When clicking + Add Related Party in a Hierarchy Capture task, the Related Party Basic Details section may appear blank, preventing users from entering required information. This occurs due to missing configuration of the Related Party Search Criteria category, which is required to initialise the Related Party creation flow.
Issue
- User navigates to Hierarchy Capture task
- Clicks + Add Related Party
- Selects Individual or **Company
- Related Party Basic Details section is empty / not displayed
- User cannot proceed with creating the Related Party
Root Cause
- The Hierarchy Capture task requires Related Party Search Criteria configuration to control duplicate search
- These fields:
- Drive the initial duplicate search process
- Enable the system to initialise the Related Party creation flow
- Once duplicate search completes:
- Data (entered or sourced externally) is passed to Related Party Basic Details
- If no fields are configured:
- Duplicate search cannot execute
- Related Party Basic Details are not rendered, resulting in a blank screen
