Introduction:
In the Dashboard, there are some limitations when it comes to displaying tasks, especially in the "Journeys" tab. This knowledge base article explains the warning message you might encounter when working with tasks and provides guidance on how to navigate these limitations.
Task Limitation Warning:
The warning message you receive is expected due to a predefined limit of 5,000 tasks that can be displayed in the Dashboard. This limit is not configurable and exists to ensure optimal system performance.
Understanding the "Journeys" Tab:
The "Journeys" tab in the Dashboard is designed to list journeys in which your selected teams have been assigned tasks. However, there are specific criteria for a journey to appear in this tab:
At Least One In-Progress Task: A journey will only appear in the "Journeys" tab if it contains at least one task that is currently in progress. If all tasks within a journey are completed, it won't be displayed in this tab.
5,000 Task Limit: When you filter the tasks based on a team, the journeys associated with that team will be displayed in the "Journeys" tab if they fall within the 5,000 task limit. If a journey exceeds this limit, it will not be visible in the tab.
Recommendation for Accessing Information:
If you need to access information on journeys that exceed the 5,000 task limit or require more detailed reporting, we recommend utilizing reporting or advanced reporting features. These tools can provide a comprehensive view of all your journeys and associated tasks, regardless of the task limit in the Dashboard.
In conclusion, while the 5,000 task limit in the Dashboard's "Journeys" tab might lead to warning messages, it's essential to understand that this limitation exists for performance reasons.
