Adding mTLS Certificate to Webhook

Adding an mTLS certificate to a webhook.

Resolution Steps:

Permission Requirements:

To add an mTLS/OAuth 2.0 Client Credential enabled endpoint configuration, the following permissions are required:

External Authentication Configuration Access

External Authentication Configuration Create

External Authentication Configuration Edit

External Authentication Configuration Delete

Error Encounter:

While attempting to query all the external authentication endpoint configurations, an error message "Access denied. Following permissions are required: ExternalAuthenticationAccess" was encountered due to the absence of necessary permissions.

Security Configuration Check:

Make sure the external authentication permissions are present on the tenant.

Action Required:

Reach out to the Fenergo and request the addition of externalauthentication permissions to the tenant to resolve the issue.

Further Steps:

Once the required permissions are granted, the user can proceed to check the external authentication endpoints and verify if the configuration with "isMtlsEnabled": true is visible.

Conclusion:

With the addition of the required permissions and verification of the configuration, users should be able to manage and add mTLS certificates to webhooks without any further issues.
